I just wanted to say how proud I am because the book “Advertising Now! Online” released under Taschen Books and edited by Julius Wiedemann which compiled the most effective and important online ad campaigns from all around the world includes a project that both my mother Geraldina Jimenez and Rafael Jimenez (my uncle) developed for Motorola here in Mexico.

When this project was built they were both working on Ogilvy Interactive Mexico. Nowadays they work on DRAFTFCB and Yahoo! (in that same order) also in Mexico.

The campaign was about creating “ultra-short” films using small clips of video stocked in the web site along with a soundtrack (to pick as well) and come up with the most creative story. Because in those days I was pretty much poor I ended up appearing on those clips and of course now on the book which is kinda funny.

The book also comes with a DVD of selected work (showing of course the websites) and the project is also included there, so I guess it must have made a good impression on the editor. For those who have the chance to get or check the book do it, it has some really impressive websites.

Pointing the obvious, this is not really a post, I just wanted to share this!
